About Bindi
Bindi arrived at the Refuge on the 28/05/2022, heavily pregnant and in very poor condition. Shortly after arriving, she gave birth to 10 puppies. She was so thin and malnourished that she required specialised dietary supplements as well as good quality high-protein food for a long period of time after the birth. We had to call out to you, our local community, for help to meet the financial demands and you delivered with great generosity.
Bindi has now officially finished her Mother-Duties - given birth to her puppies, raised them, weaned them, put on weight, and waved them goodbye as they went to their own homes. And now SHE is officially healthy enough to be re-homed.
Miss Bindi is going to need a home that will discipline her as she has a determined nature. She needs work working on the lead as she has had little experience of it and likes to pull.
Bindi has a great nature and is good with men, women, children and livestock. She does love other dogs especially male dogs. If Bindi is to go to a home with another dog, your dog will have to be young and have energy as Bindi enjoys doing zoomies around the yard and playing.
She is crate-trained and toilet-trained, She has also previously been and inside/outside dog.
Bindi DOES NOT like Chooks, birds or cats.
