About Ollie
Ollie is looking for her forever home
Ollie has had a very sad last 12 months. She was adored by a family who treated her as their baby. They then had to go and live overseas, so she was surrendered to the Refuge at 9 years old. She was re-homed with another family but they were out of the house more than they originally thought and they began to find Ollie too needy for them so she was surrendered her.
Ollie does have a few problems which have been listed below
-She cannot be left alone as she exhibits severe anxiety.
-She can become destructive with property if “her people” are missing. She will also escape trying to find them.
-given the radical change in her life at the middle age, it is unsurprising that she is deeply stressed.
Ollie would benefit from behavioural training and exploring ways to manage her anxiety.
She cannot be with other dogs because she has previously been attacked and is fearful of them. Ollie needs a caring patient owner who will be home a great deal but who will also be prepared to help her overcome her anxiety.
Ollie would make a wonderful companion to someone who is homebound
FOSTER HOMES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR OLLIE AS SHE IS ISNT DOING WELL IN THE PENNED ENVIRONMENT.
