Glacia is one special girl who is looking for a new beginning after a hard start to life.
She has a fear of strangers so will need a family who understands her needs and will take the time to win her over. Children are particularly scary so an adult only home will suit her best. Once she loves you however, it’s endless love and cuddles! Glacia is super affectionate and attentive to any direction.
Glacia is a clever girl and has been attending group obedience classes weekly. She walks perfect on lead and loves saying hi to all the other dogs. For this reason, it’s important she go to a home with at least one other dog so she can bond quickly.
She is currently crate trained and this is where she sleeps, her new family will need to continue this as it has really helped her progress. Glacia is also Cat friendly and toilet trained.
Medical Notes:
Glacia has a medical condition called Megaesophagus that will need ongoing monitoring. She has a mild form of it which is easily managed by feeding her twice a day in elevated bowls and then keeping her quiet in her crate afterwards. Due to this feeding requirement Glacia cannot be adopted to a family who works away from home for extended periods of time.
