About Luna - 13 Week Old Kelpie X(On Trial 30/10/22)
Meet lovely little Luna. She is a 13 week Kelpie X Staffy and we think this mix makes her the cutest little lady.
Luna is a very sweet little girl who loves cuddling up to her humans. So if you are a human who loves fur baby cuddles, Luna is the girl for you!
Luna is very affectionate and clever. She has already mastered sitting on command and is doing well with her toilet training. She is still learning manners so would better suit a home with no children under 5 and will need a secure yard with enough room to run and play.
Luna is currently living in a home with a 14yr old doggy brother but she is still quite active and a little much for him so would recommend no older dogs.
But regardless Luna is ready to find her forever home!
To register your interest in adopting Luna you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Luna is in foster care in the Newcastle area. They are not currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $700.00 and they are vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
As Luna is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
