NOTE: You are unable to meet Meg until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Meg in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I LOVE lounging about in my clam pool at the shelter, so if you have a little pool for me or can take me to a river or lake for a swim then I'd be a very happy girl.
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs. When first meeting other dogs I can be a bit full on which some dogs may not like, so I may be best suited to a tolerant submissive dog. Once we are friends, I settle down and have no further issues.
• I arrived at the shelter as a stray so my history is unknown. Due to this, my interaction with cats, pocket pets and fowl that are free roaming in the house or yard is completely unknown. There can be no guarantee that I will be ok living with them, so it is recommended that I don't go to a home that has them.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being mouthy & bouncy

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit on command
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
