Background

In March this year, three tiny kittens, hungry, dehydrated and covered in fleas were found in a closed box, behind Balmain Public School..

Personality

Being hand reared Tommy & Polly are extremely affectionate and are a bonded pair. They are dog friendly having been brought up in a house with a cavoodle, handle all kinds of Balmain traffic noise, fireworks and dog barking.

Tommy: the baby of the pair. All he wants to do is put his paws around your neck and cuddle. He has his moments of playing but he also needs lots of affection and will be first to jump on your lap. He is quite reliant on his sister and gets a bit agitated if he cannot see her. He has a series of toys that he walks around with in his mouth.

Polly: loves cuddles and affection but is also more independent. She is very happy sitting in the front garden, chasing leaves and running around. She does mother Tommy and they are often found sitting together in a sunny spot.

Both kittens are very happy inside with toys to play with, and do enjoy the benefits of a walled garden so they can enjoy the sun and watching birds and butterflies outside.
