About Ruby
Ruby is a small golden 1 year old Foxy x possibly with a bit of staffy or kelpie or lab She is only small and weighs in at 15 kilos.
She is very dog friendly with dogs her size and smaller but scared of bigger dogs and will bark at them . She would like to be rehomed where there is another small dog and/or a family home a lot. In time and with training her reactions to bigger dogs should improve
Ruby is energetic , sweet, obedient , fun and loyal
Ruby is housetrained and crate trained and sleeps happily and quietly in her crate all night.
Ruby does like to be with her family and although she is starting to feel more confident she does need to be in close contact. most of the time She will not manage being left at home while everyone is at work all week
Ruby came from a country pound and was rehomed a few times before she was 1 year old and then eventually surrendered to the pound . and therefore does worry that she will be left again. In time in a stable home she will realise she isnt getting moved again.
The home for Ruby will have another dog or someone home a lot and fencing that is solid and 5 foot high. No farm mesh fences as she can get over them. Ruby loves to be inside and relaxes immediately there is a lounge available
She has met a cat and is not a danger to them and backed away when hissed at
Ruby is a sweet girl who travels well in the car and walks well on a harness and lead . She would make a fun happy addition to a family looking for a second dog or possibly a young retired couple looking for a reason to get out walking or someone who works from home and is looking for a shadow
Ruby is desexed and vaccinated and in foster care in Hinton near Maitland

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
