About Ophelia
Introducing OPHELIA, one of five plump, placid and playful puppies from The Shakespeare Litter, born on 25 August 2022.
Ophelia's breed mix is Australian Bulldog x Mastiff.
The Australian Bulldog is basically an English Bulldog, bred for Australian conditions. Medium-sized and muscular, they love being part of a family and are typically great with children and other household pets. Bulldogs do best in temperate climates and with their short hair are well suited to indoor living.
Mastiffs are large, good-natured and docile dogs, devoted to and protective of their family.
The Aussie Bulldog x Mastiff makes for a very affectionate and people-focused companion dog and is a good choice for large-dog lovers who enjoy having an indoor dog.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Ophelia to play with. Previous large dog experience will be well regarded.
Due to her expected size at maturity, she is probably not a suitable playmate for very young children. As always, secure fencing is essential.

Her adoption fee is $750. She is vaccinated and microchipped. She is also flea and worm-treated. Her adoption fee includes desexing when age appropriate.

Dogs:
The first step in our adoption process is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ This is a mandatory step and you are encouraged to answer all questions and provide photos of your yard and fencing.
All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
