About Lilly
Hello my name is Lilly and I am 7 year old Maltese x Pomeranian
Now I know you’re going to read my bio and go wow I am a grumpy one but I promise I am not - I am just looking for a home that will give me the time to settle in and get comfy with them and then you will see me shine – I can then be the best cuddly buddy in the world.
I do take a few days to warm up to people so do need a home that will work with me on that.
I am a quiet girl who really isn’t asking for much in life – just some quiet, a lap that I choose and patience.
I am dog friendly and am currently with a few other dogs at my fosters home – there is one dog I am not a fan of and that’s cause she is in my face all the time and bouncy – I am not really into that – I am into quiet and calm.
I am not tested with cats
I am currently with some young teenagers who know to just give me my own space and let me come to them when I want – I would prefer a home with no children under the age of 8 – simply for the quiet and peace.
I am a girl who enjoys the luxury of an indoor life and have great indoor manners using the doggy door when I need to go outside for the toilet. I do like to spend some time outside doing my thing so I would like to have the best of both worlds - inside and outside access when I want.
I would happily also do a stroll daily with you when I’m comfortable – not a marathon of any kind but a nice stroll around the neighborhood.
I of course have that glorious Maltese and Pomeranian coat which needs to be maintained and regular grooming but not a fan of being brushed on a regular basis
My ideal home would be with someone who is home more often than not so I can snuggle and do Netflix marathons with.
I am wanting someone who will give me the space to settle and then love me and spoil me and leave me wanting for nothing.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link
https://goo.gl/forms/PqpkCcE89ikDR2Lw1
Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
