Meet Belle, SoCares very own princess.... 💞

Belle is a delightful dog who shows how much she appreciates you with her affectionate nature. She is always waiting at the front of her kennel to gain your attention to give you one of her welcoming hugs.

When Belle is in your company she always likes to be touching you, and is constantly making sure you are next to her when she is walking on a lead. She spins and jumps around in utter excitement when she knows she is going for a walk or for a play in our outdoor runs.

Belle doesn’t enjoy toys, she would much rather play a game with you. She really enjoys when you tip toe up to her while she is looking at you and pretend to pounce at her. She gets very excited and wanting to engage with you and the game. This cheeky girl then runs away, ready for you to do it all again.

Recently Belle went to the vets for a checkup. She was very settled in the car but she always had to have her foot touching the staff member who drove her there. At the vets Belle was very well behaved while the vet checked her over and didn’t even mind when some other dogs at the vet practice barked at her.

We think maybe Belle needs some princess etiquette classes when food is involved. She can get a little too excited about treats and does tend to snatch them from your hand. She also does not like to share food with other canine friends.

Other Pets: Belle has meet quite a few dogs at SoCares and hasn’t been overly interested in playing with any of them. She doesn’t tolerate small dogs with an overly playful nature jumping on her. When it comes to dogs that are more her size she is happy to let them sniff her and interact around her but would rather walk off and do her own thing.

Belle would really be in her element as an only girl of her household. Although she is dog social, Belle is at her happiest with human company.

When Belle walked into our cattery she showed no interest in the cats. One of the cats was showing how unimpressed he was but Belle didn’t react and walked past the cat and out of the cattery with no issues.

Type of household: Belle would be fine around children who are used to large breed dogs. Due to Belles over excited personality at times she might accidentally knock small children over.

Belle loves her humans so it is imperative that Belle be included as part of her new family's everyday life.

Belle's adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
