Butterbean is a total sweetheart and is looking for a home with another dog
and dog savvy children considered. He has come a long way since arriving in
foster care and is a really beautiful, loving, sweet pup!

He’s a pretty-chilled out puppy with low-moderate energy levels. Butterbeans
loves and adores his foster sibling! He loves his humans too but love for his
four-legged friends come first which is why he will only be rehomed with
another dog.

With time to adjust to his new surroundings he will do well and has
demonstrated this while in foster care, he’s a brand-new dog from when he
arrived. Although Butterbean has come really far in such a short time, he will
need continual and ongoing training, socialisation and exposure to the big
wide world, as he is still a scared little puppy.

Butterbean needs some encouragement with the lead but once he’s
overcome the initial fear he’ll walk quite happily.

Butterbean is very food orientated which will make training so much easier,
he has just learnt to sit on command. He will initially be unsure of his new
surroundings but will settle in a day or two.

Butterbean has been fed separately from his foster sibling, only because he’s
a bit of a guts when it comes to food. He is being fed 3 times a day and is
currently approx.19 kgs. He’s very gentle when taking food/treats from your
hand.

Butterbean is almost toilet trained with an accident here and there, however
this has been when left inside unattended for an extended period of time. He
will do this business on a puppy pad though.

Butterbean loves laying out in the grass or a warm spot in the sun, he loves a
good play wrestle with his foster sibling. He can be a little vocal when playing
but he’s just expressing his excitement.

Butterbean came into care with a skin infection, he’s had a course of
antibiotics which has really helped with the re-growth of his fur, he’s also had
an allergy shot and medicated baths to stop the itchiness.
Being a puppy still Butterbean can be a bit mischievous with digging and
chewing things that are not meant to be chewed such as electrical cords.
Please make sure you puppy proof your house.
