INDOOR/OUTDOOR- ONGOING POSITIVE SOCIALISATION - QUIET HOUSEHOLD-NO CHILDREN

Right now, Velvet wants a human cuddle bunny. She is getting braver every day since coming to the shelter from a rural setting, at times Velvet can be a timid little girl and can spook easily with so she will require an owner who has the time and patience to help this loving, active girl discover that the new city life is nothing to be fearful of.

Velvet can be also worrisome when left alone so will need some departure training in order to learn it is okay to be separated from the family. Velvet would defiantly benefit from regular training classes to also help with building her confidence. During her time here with us at the shelter Velvet has blossomed and has shown that she could become a wonderful, loyal friend for someone that is looking for a furever companion.

The kelpie breed is working dog so Velvet will need an active life, ideally with a daily 'job' to do. That 'job' could be accompanying you to work or having routine walks and play dates with suitable canine companions.

The adoption fee for VELVET is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
