NOTE: You are unable to meet Freya until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Freya in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs however i will retaliate if provoked first by the other dog
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• Whilst I am very settled & outgoing in familiar environments I can be timid/skittish in unfamiliar environments, a family who will include me in daily activities and give me lots of exposure & positive reinforcement in the big wide world is a must
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Super people orientated and would be a wonderful family dog
• Highly food motivated & attentive
• Gentle & placid nature
• I can sit, come, am responsive to my name & am a generally well mannered lady
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans - I love crawling onto your lap
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
• I love toys, especially chasing my ball and doing zoomies

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• Whilst I am very settled & outgoing in familiar environments I can be timid/skittish in unfamiliar environments, a family who will include me in daily activities and give me lots of exposure & positive reinforcement in the big wide world is a must
• I am social with other friendly dogs however I will react if they are too full on or reactive to me, further socialisation is recommended.
• I do walk quite well on the lead once settled, however I can pull if something interests me and can be quite skittish if startled so walking in a harness is recommended
