Still looking for the perfect fit.
Hi, my name is Sidney and I’m 11 yrs old. But don’t tell anyone, as I feel and act half my age.
I was dumped in a school in the school holidays. Someone found me matted head to toe with severe eye infections and a chest infection as I was out in the rain.
I was taken to the pound and did my time, but no one came for me.
So I went to TOTF rescue, who I’m told loves the mature age furkids.
I’ve spend abit of time in foster care so my eyes and chest healed.
Unfortunately I have dry eyes which is a ongoing cost as I need eye medication daily. My medication lasts 3 months and is around $100-120.
But apart from that I’m as healthy as a ox.
I’m a small little shihtzu, and if you know the breed, we are eccentric, weird little characters.
I’m great with other dogs, and would like another small little friend.
And still very active, so I don’t want to be someone’s couch potatoe all day! (Boring 😲)
Id prefer someone closer to my age, I find the young ones annoying.
My adoption Fee is $450

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
