Hi friends, I'm Coco!
I was abandoned by my owner along with her other pets. It was no fault of my own; my owner just had some personal troubles. I am fully grown at 15kg, with a big personality!
I love to play in water and adore the company of my human and dog friends, though I do prefer to live with male dogs. I've also met cats here, and am learning to be respectful but I'm a little too eager right now to be left unsupervised with them. While my humans are away from home, I hang out in the yard with the other dogs. I am medium energy, so we like to play chasies and then nap in the sun. I LOVE to play with my chew toys (the Tuffy toys and Jolly branded puncture-proof balls are great!) and a rotation of them every couple days stops me getting bored. I sleep through the night outside on the deck with the other dogs. I am house trained and like a typical staffy, I can be vocal and backchat!
I am working on my leash skills (a short leash works best as then I walk beside you!), and would like (as any dog would!) to get out of the yard a few times a week to run, sniff and roll in the outside world. I also like car rides and travel well! I am a very happy, exciteable girl who will make my new family very happy.
I'd love to have a 5ft fence or higher and have a committed, loving owner- and in return I'll give you all the love and loyalty you could ever wish for!

Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:

- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. If you follow through with adoption after your meet, the $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.

NEED FLIGHTS?
1. Contact us for a quote via email or facebook, providing the following info.
- Your name
- The animal you are interested in
- How soon you would be able to adopt (as naturally their weight will increase with time)
- Which airport you would collect from
2. Once all of the above information is provided, we will gain a quote from JetPets, using our charity discount. Flights are generally from Brisbane or Toowoomba, QLD.
3. Once you receive your quote, if you'd like to proceed please put in your adoption application ASAP to make sure you don't miss out!
