About Lizzy ^Dandy Cat Rescue^
🐱🐱 $120 adoption fee 🐱🐱
Lizzy is a young girl who has had a truly awful start to life. But this is a “rainbows, sunshine and lollipops’’ kind of girl and she is happy to put her previous life well and truly behind her.
Lizzy was one of more than 30 cats and dogs in a hoarder home. She knew very little of life outside the cage she was locked in with four other cats. When she was first rescued Lizzy would curl in on herself because she had never been able to fully stretch out, let alone run or play.
So we had to teach Lizzy how to be a cat and how to enjoy life outside of the confines of her cage. And we can happily say that Lizzy is a new girl compared to what she once was.
Lizzy loves life with a passion. Although she is 3 years old she is really like a kitten in many ways. She has now got energy to burn and loves to play and run about. And who could blame her? She was denied it for so long.
As a result of her sad earlier life Lizzy no longer wants the company of other pets, so she will need to be your one and only. Lizzy also missed out on a lot of love as a young cat and, now that she knows what love is, she is desperate for attention and love.
But your first meeting with her will be a challenge as Lizzy takes time to trust new people. She will settle in her new home in a few days but you will need to understand that she had been treated very badly and it takes her a little time to trust.
Once she does trust you though, Lizzy will give you her everything. She is a very loving girl who soaks up all the affection you can give her. She has a lovely purr and she looks at you with the deepest gaze. Her beautiful emerald green eyes are truly mesmerizing.
Lizzy needs someone who is patient and will give her lots of gentle pats and cuddles. She likes to be reassured that she is loved and wanted.
Lizzy did have diarrhea issues when we first got her and we have got it under control with a special diet of Hills prescription food. She will need to continue that for a few weeks (until the end November, food provided by us!) and should be fine after that. She has no other health issues, and she uses the litter really well.
You are reading this because you want to rescue a kitty in need. That kitty is Lizzy. She needs a home to call her own forever. One with room for her to move and grow into herself as all cats deserve. And for that she will give you her whole heart unconditionally.
