About Hime
*In foster care in Westmead, Sydney*
Hime is a real (Japanese) Princess! A little shy while getting to know you, she'll soon start demanding non-stop pats and snuggles as fast as you can give them :)
This lovely girl definitely likes to rule the roost, claiming her favourite spots around the house and glaring at you if you dare to sit there! Her thick, grey tabby coat is absolutely stunning, and she's always dressed to kill complete with stole (her fluffy white ruff) and gloves (her furry white paw pads)!
Hime is looking for a patient and adoring home, with people who'll see through her tough facade to the big softie underneath :) She'll probably spend a lot of time hiding under the couch or bed until she feels safe and secure. Though she's not a huge fan of being carried around (yet!), she does crave human affection and enjoys the company of other cats too!
Like all Maggie's pets, Hime is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a calm feel and a fairly predictable routine, with people who'll understand I may take a while to come out of my shell. I do love to sit with you on the couch in the evenings to get pats, or wait for you in the morning to feed me. I think I'd quite enjoy living with another nice cat!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Lounge lizard! I'll sometimes spark up a bit in the evening, maybe swat at a ball or have a scratch on my tower, but I really don't need a bunch of toys.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I can get spooked easily, children aged around 10+ will be the best match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I used to live with lots of other cats, so I'm definitely open to making friends with another gentle feline. I haven't met any dogs yet so not sure how I'd feel about one of those in my space!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
