Lawrence is an absolute doll, loves all people and knows what he wants - which is to sleep on your bed. He develops a sudden onset of selective hearing if you ask him to move. He has been great with his carers grandchildren (youngest is 8), ignores the neighbours dog but does not like small dogs, like many of his breed. He can be fearful of new dogs when out walking and will try and avoid them. He is used to being the only pet in the home so for his twilight years would be much more comfortable being your one and only. He is content to snooze the day away but does enjoy his daily strolls and trotting around the yard. He has had 24/7 access to inside and outside whilst in care and this setup suits him greatly.

Lawrence does enjoy mealtimes, especially your mealtimes and will try to sneak food from the table. He will clean the kids faces for you though, to save bathing them of course. He is a very gentle boy, can be a bit strong on lead sometimes but majority of the time he walks beautifully. He prefers a quieter firm voice to help with his stubbornness.

Ultimately he is looking for a companion that will accept him for who he is and can provide a comfortable retirement lifestyle, couch potato style with a touch of active to brighten up the day. This gentleman is just such a delightful fella.
