Tigger - 11 Month Old Kelpie X Staffy

Hi, I’m Tigger. If you’re looking for a ball of bubbly, playful enthusiasm, wrapped in a loyal, beautiful bow, then I’m your girl!

I’m an 10 month old kelpie x staffy, and my foster family say I’m very similar to a famous animal called Tigger who is bouncy and a little bit clumsy like me; and loves having fun with friends and family, just like me!

There are 7 in my foster family - 2 adult hoo-mans, 4 foster-siblings (2 hoo-man and 2 with 4 legs), and me – and I get along with everyone!

I like to play with all my foster siblings – the 2-legged and 4-legged ones. I enjoy playing chase and wrestling with my 4-legged foster brother, playing pull (tug-a-war) with anyone 2 or 4-legged, fetch, and LOVE zoomies. My 4-legged foster siblings have taught me how to catch flies, I’m getting really good at it.
I hope my fur-ever family has another dog so we can play together. They also need to have at least 6 foot fences because I can bounce!

I can be a bit nervous and shy in unfamiliar situations and when I meet anyone new (2 or 4 legged), my foster family tell me it’s OK and everyone gets shy sometimes. I feel a lot better after some calm words and pats, or treats, or some play time, or some quiet time in a safe place, and then I am back to my goofy gorgeous self.

I’ve met a few little hoo-mans, they are OK, I just let them do their thing and I hang around the medium and big hoo-mans instead. I’m on the small side of medium myself, I’m around 16kg and the vet thinks I’m full grown now.
My foster paw-ents tell me I’m very smart, well-mannered, and are always telling me how good I am with going to the toilet outside. I know over 20 words including come, sit, stay, lay, and meerkat (you should see how tall I am when I stand up!). I walk well with my harness and lead, but I don’t like to walk too far, I prefer running around and playing than long walks.

I don’t mind when my hoo-mans clean the mud off my feet when I’ve been out playing, and my foster mum can’t believe how good I am when she cuts my nails. Baths aren’t my favourite thing but they aren’t too bad, especially because I get treats during it and snuggles when I’m getting dried afterwards.
I spend my days either chilling inside with my foster-fam or in my pen, lying in the sun outside or playing outside with my foster siblings. I’m OK with alone time, I’m really good when my foster-fam goes out. When they are home I like to be able to come and get pats and scratches, but I don’t have to be with them all the time. I quite like chilling out in quiet spots on my own sometimes.

I love to end the day with chill out time with my family watching TV. I sleep in my foster paw-ents room and let them sleep the WHOLE night, which they seem really happy about. They are also super happy with how well behaved I am in the car – I don’t mind chilling out during a drive.

Tigger is in foster care in Maitland, NSW. She is available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
