About Lola - 1 Year Old Catahoula X(On Trial 23/10/22)
Meet the lovely Lola. This young girl is a Catahoula X. She is approximately 1 year old and is as beautiful as you can get. Her distinct markings and striking gold/brown eyes are the icing to the cake as she also has a wonderful personality.
We will admit it, this girl is a bit of a sook, she loves her humans. She will take all the hugs and pats she can get and loves to go for walks and play with her piggy toy or lie on her bed and quietly chew her goat horns.
Since coming to care Lola has come a long way and is beautifully behaved on walks. She loves to bound around and be active. Lola would love to live with someone who exercise’s regularly and even better, someone who will take her for a jog and maybe to the local cafe afterwards. She is content to lie quietly on her bed while foster mum works and is generally really well behaved.
Lola is working on her house training and has made excellent progress. She will sit and lie down and is working on stay. Lola can jump high and for this reason a secure yard with 6ft fencing is a must. Lola does get excited but is very responsive to a “no” and for this reason my 3 young children have had no issues with her. She is good with other dogs, kids and cats.
Lola will thrive in an environment where she can receive attention, further training and exercise. She is an easy care dog and a small amount put in she will give you back tenfold.
As mentioned rural fencing will not be suitable for this athletic beauty.
Lola is treated for fleas, wormed, vaccinated and desexed.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
Lola is in foster care in the Central Coast, NSW. They are not currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $500.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
