Axel is an 11-year-old blue cattle dog who has been trained very well. He sits, stays, chases balls (and returns them), happily sleeps on his own in the laundry and is super affectionate. Don’t let his age fool you, this gentleman is in the prime of his life. He has a clean bill of health and will provide many, many years of friendship to come.

Axel lives with a family currently and has shown no habits that require re training. He can be left alone while you are at work. When you return you are guaranteed tonnes of love and affection. He has previously lived with children. He has not been tested with other dogs, but all signs indicate that Axel is a pretty chilled fellow. If you have other fur babies, please bring them to potential meet and greets.

His ideal home would allow Axel into the family, being inside and outside. He needs secure fencing and some space to chase a ball. All of Axel’s vet work is up to date and he is available right now.

Axel is in foster care in the Lake Macquarie area in NSW. He is not currently available for interstate adoption. Axel's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate.
What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
