Hi everyone 👋

This adorable little lady is May the chunky monkey and she is super sweet.

May was a street cat who was living in a colony with her kittens which we were able to rescue. Mays kittens have all grown up and found homes so now it's her turn.

May can be a little bit shy at first and might take a bit of time to warm up to her new human, but once she does she will be all about the purrs and the pats. She's not much of a lap cat at this stage but she's more than happy to rub up against your leg to let you know when she wants some attention.

May is also great with other cats and would make a great companion if you already have cats at home. She would also do really well as an only cat who could get all of her humans attention.

May would be ideally suited to a patient and affectionate human who's willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and be ready to give her lots of pats when she does.

She may never be a lap cat that is happy to be picked up and cuddled ( or maybe she will, who knows ) but she has plenty of love to give.

This super sweet little lady is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a big company, it is a one man operation. I run a very small cat rescue service from the safety of my own home. I have spent a small fortune making my apartment as cat friendly as possible in order to create a stimulating environment for our furry feline guests to enjoy while they are with us. We rely heavily on donations and the kindness of strangers and every cent made from adoptions fees goes straight back to the cats in the form of food, litter, toys and vet bills.
