Fisk is a medium-sized dog, with some growing left to do. He is looking for an accommodating family or couple home with a big yard and good fences.
He is kid-friendly, and is currently cohabiting (peacefully) with a five and a two year old.

Playful biting and jumping up are both habits (especially when we come home), but these have been successfully controlled with some obedience training. He is not currently sharing a home with other pets, but we project that he will fit in well with other dogs.
Fisk is beautifully energetic. He enjoys longer walks or runs, and always repays them with long rest periods at night. He is always excited when he sees other dogs, but is generally courteous to them when he gets up close. He pulls on the leash, and often keeps a better pace when jogging. He will hopefully outgrow this.

Toileting is consistently outside, and on walks. At least one outside trip during the night is
recommended because of his age (I usually take him out around 2am).
Fisk is able to relax in a good-sized backyard, so he is able to cope with being alone for longer periods during the day. He sleeps inside, inside a large crate, but would also sleep well on a couch (if the owner were to allow it). He is sometimes less interested in his food, but this may be an aspect of his young age. Treats have been a good motivation for training.
He barks at intruders or other animals in his home (real or imagined - he once growled at a
teddy bear), but he’s always been courteous to invited guests. He will whimper and cry when left alone (e.g. such as when we take him shopping), but we hope he will outgrow or be trained out of this behaviour.
Overall, Fisk is a great dog who would be a valuable addition to a family home.
