About Asher 😽💙
Hi I’m Asher and I’m ready to find my special forever home.
I know I’m pretty cute hey 😉 but before you absolutely fall in love with me, like you already have, there is one thing you must know, I’m deaf.
Please don’t feel sorry for me cause I must tell you that since coming into care after loosing my real mumma ,through a dog attack at 1 week old , my foster mum has shown me all the love in the world, I really have been made to feel special.
I get some people might think having a deaf kitten might be challenging, but there are pros and cons to my deafness.
Firstly the cons:
1: I can’t hear if danger is coming, so for this reason I will have to be 100% indoors so I am always safe with my family.
2: I can’t hear you tell me how much you love me, but trust me I can feel it in all the cuddles I will make you give me.
3: I can’t hear when you get home but I will most definitely smell you. My foster mum tries to sneak past me sometimes but I always catch her because my nose is awesome, it’s like a sniffer dogs nose, so you won’t need to call me for dinner either lol.
4: If I have found that really cosy place where you can’t find me, no you can’t call me but I’ll let you in on a little trick, my foster mum will stomp her feet in the room and I feel the vibration 😉
On the Pro side:
Well everything is on the pro side if you adopt me LOL.
But seriously some people might look at that list and look at what I can’t do, some may say I’m not a normal kitten. But when I look at that list I see how I have adjusted to my deafness, I look at what I CAN do instead of what I can’t, So really my con list is my PRO list.
My foster mum has raised me to be a very confident boy. She worries I have no fear sometimes but I guess I just know she will keep me safe.
I love all my fur brothers and sisters. We even got a pup in the other day and god I love him. He lets me share his food and I love jumping on him and scaring him. He’s pretty relaxed though.
So in my forever home my foster mum wants me to have a friend. Especially if my humans are away my fur brothers and sisters make me feel safe.
So if you think you can handle all this cuteness in your home then please apply. I promise I’m even cuter in person 😉

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
