About Dolly
Dolly is a petite 4-month-old kelpie girl with a huge personality. She’s confident, cheeky, sassy, and a total delight.
This little firecracker is full of beans, agile and FAST! She would be a great candidate for advanced training or a dog sport, like agility or flyball. She has great toy drive – her favourites are the tug, flirt pole and spring pole.
Dolly is very smart and loves to train. She knew ‘sit’ when she arrived, and, in just a few short training sessions, had learned ‘drop’, ‘wave’ and ‘bang’. She’s also learning that she’s not the ruler of the world, and is settling into the household rules beautifully and starting to find her off-switch.
Dolly is a highly alert puppy who pings off the world. She will need humans willing to continue to build her engagement and put in the work to channel her vitality into something productive. Once she’s tired, Dolly loves to cuddle on her human’s lap.
Dolly loves to play with other dogs, and would enjoy having another playful dog to keep her company and show her the ropes.
She sleeps all night in her crate without a peep and is coming along well with her toilet training – but she is still very young and will need continued support from her humans to fully toilet train.
Dolly is looking for active humans who will allow her inside as part of the family, give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation and include her in all their adventures. Her forever family must be committed to continuing her socialisation and training, and to giving her clear boundaries, to help her become a well-adjusted dog.
If Dolly sounds like the dog for you, please apply today!
Dolly is located in ACT.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
