About Daisy
*Daisy is available for adoption or foster*
Daisy is a great all-rounder. She loves dogs, people, and walks. She enjoys her time outside and then chilling inside. She is affectionate to other dogs and people, and will happy sit and watch the other dogs roughhouse waiting for them to be finished and ready to laze with her. Daisy would best suit a decent sized yard with good fencing, as she is a big dog and has medium energy levels. She is gentle by nature, but has a little bit of youthful exuberance. Daisy is learning quickly to sit for meals and not to jump up. She barely barks. She would love another male desexed dog, of similar size to hang and lounge with for company. She is showing NO signs of resource guarding. She doesn’t pull on the lead when out walking but needs a little guidance to stay focused and to walk straight. Daisy enjoys chewing which is easily managed by ensuring she has appropriate things to chew, like kongs and long lasting chew treats. She hasn’t chewed shoes or any beloved items, just a few things in the garden. Unfortunately for Daisy and of no fault of her own, she has had many changes in her life, before she was in our care and also while in our care, and because of this she is showing signs of separation anxiety. Although there has been some improvement we will be looking for a home where someone is home most of the time, and are prepared to work with daisy to cope better when her humans are not home. We can discuss training and other options with anyone interested in adopting Daisy. Daisy has a gentle, placid, and affectionate nature.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
