About Mabel
She is inquisitive and curious, so following children and other dogs around, engaging with them in their chosen activity and generally having company of some description is best for her.
Mabel will spend hours watching you be busy (gardening, household chores, cleaning/tidying/pottering), smelling everything you touch as it all seems new and interesting to her. She wants so desperately to be involved with the family and your activities.
Most of all she loves some low-key play with children or a K-9 pal, but when it's time for some quiet connection, being in close proximity is her thing.
She won't hassle you for a pat, or lick you, she just wants to lie at (or on) your feet. When inside, she is calm (toilet trained) and lets herself in and out of the doggy-door as she needs.
Mabel sleeps in a crate and will go to her 'bed' on command, both inside and outside. She will do up to 12hours in her crate overnight without issue and does not make a sound to protest.
She is still learning to 'do a wee' on command before bed, though there have been no accidents when she hasn't done one before being crated.
Adoption details
All of our animals are living with our amazing foster carers in loving home environments.
If you would like to meet one of our furbabies please contact the carer on the info page of the pet your are interested in. You can visit them at their carers home.
All of our animals are fully vaccinated, microchipped and DESEXED. No animal is rehomed till these animals have been through our medical and behavioural assessments.
Adoption is a two way process and if you and the animal agree you both want to live together, then the paperwork can be processed and rehoming can take place.
