About Jack
G’day I am Jack, a red and tan kelpie boy, about 3 months old. I am super smart, confident, very active and agile. I love playing with my foster siblings and following my foster mum everywhere.
I am crate trained and sleep there all night without a peep. Sometimes, I put myself in the crate for a sleep during the day. Clever hey? I am also doing very well with my house training, which is pretty impressive at my age.
I can already sit on command and my recall is coming along nicely. My foster mum has been teaching me about toys and I love a game of tug. I love to be taught new things.
I am an active and very smart chap, however I do know how to to chill and I’ll settle quickly on a mat on the floor at the end of the day or if my foster mum needs to work at her desk. Did I mention I love cuddles too?
If you trained me to help with your stock I reckon I’d be pretty handy. I love to herd everything that moves. I help my foster mum put the chickens away in the afternoon.
I need to keep my mind active as well as my body. My foster mum has been telling me about dog sports and they sound great. She thinks I’d be a star too!
I am looking for a home on a farm or acreage where I could help you with your day to day chores. I need a home that is experienced with the breed as I am super smart and will need more than a couple of walks a day to ensure I am the most fulfilled and happy dog I can be!
I need secure fencing as I will try to climb, dig or push my way out if I am left unsecured and alone.
If I sound like the guy for you apply now!
Jack is located in NSW...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
