About Arlo
Happiness is ground zero for this free spirit. Our buoyantly upbeat friend Arlo lives life to the fullest. She’s everyone’s best friend and can find the upside in almost anything. Be aware of her wagging tail; it goes so fast it could power a small village!
Low on demands and high on life, she’s happy to create her own entertainment - which includes a lot of naps - and preferably close to the family. Arlo’s favourite things are walkies, human companionship and enjoying the comfort of her bed, in- and outdoors in the sun. A boop on the door means Arlo would like to go outside, please. She loves nothing more than curling up to you for a nap or playing tug-of-war outside. When you’re not home, this sleepy head is happy to fill up her energy levels until you’re back for a cuddle.
One of Arlo’s ears sits a little wonky, which makes her next-level adorable. Not all shiny things are golden; sometimes, they come with four legs, freshly washed and a gleaming coat. Time to shine, baby!
This bubbly gal is always keen for a trip to the dog park and has an excellent recall (after completing the duty of saying hi to everyone, of course).
Unfortunately, Arlo’s Great Dane bestie crossed the rainbow bridge last year. They used to cuddle and play together constantly. As this deaf dog was old and didn't understand boundaries, toys would be supervised during their play to avoid any jealousy. Arlo lives with a cat, and they have a good relationship filled with cuddles and sometimes play. She thrives in a family environment with her extremely gentle and patient personality. Currently, Arlo lives with an 18-month-old baby and loves to play with him. If you’re up for a play, she can play for hours.
Arlo is a truly lovely dog who will make a great family pet!
Medical notes
Arlo has sensitive skin and uses medicated dog wash fortnightly to ensure her skin stays nice and shiny. She also has a sensitive tummy to human food. Besides this, Arlo is fit as a fiddle!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
