About Missy
Meet Missy!
She is a previous rescue dog from roughly the age of 5. Her owners circumstances have unfortunately changed so she is now on the hunt for a new home.
She is very gentle and caring and does not require much exercise! A simple walk around the block will suffice, along with lots of pats and cuddles! Spending time sunbaking and napping is also something she's quite fond of!
She is fantastic with adults and older children, but she can get excited and jump around small children and accidently knock them over.
Due to her unknown past she is quite timid / anxious around other dogs (barking at them on walks and can pull on the lead). Therefore she is suited to be in a one dog household.
Missy is currently predominately an outdoor dog but would happily spend as much time inside as she can!
She can follow simple commands - sit and stay.
Missy is full of unconditional love and is happy to just be in the company of people.
She'd be the perfect companion pet for a single person or retired couple. But would also happily be part of the family!
She'd love to meet you!
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
