About Nellie
Hi, I'm Nellie and I'm a cute, energetic 4 month old red and tan Kelpie!
I'm shy with new people at first but once we get to know each other, I will offer you the end of my rope toy and invite you into my fun little world. I love all sorts of toys and chasing balls and once I have settled, I love gentle ear rubs which often make me drift off to sleep.
I walk quite well on a lead but I do still get excited if other dogs are close by in case they want to play with me. I have learnt to sit and wait for my dinner, which is a big deal because I love my food! I enjoy a play session before bed and once I've let out my energy, I sleep soundly in my crate overnight.
My ideal home would be on a large property so I have plenty of room to run and explore. I love the company of other dogs and I would love to live with another dog who is as energetic as I am and could help me build my confidence. I have a tendency to chase birds, so I wouldn't be suitable for a home with cats or pocket pets. I would make a great companion to an active family who are willing to continue my training so I can grow up to be the best dog I can be. I would be happy to share a home with older, dog savvy children or teenagers who will give me time to adjust and play with me once I've settled in.
If you think I sound like a good match for your family, please complete the adoption form.
Yours in paws,
Nellie x

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
