The incredibly sweet Miss Maggie is now seeking her forever family

At just 5 months this beautiful girl is a mix of a few breeds. We feel she is Border Collie with a hint of something else or 2 so we are calling her a crossbreed. Miss Maggie is only 15 kilos so based on this and her age we feel she will be a med at full growth

When Miss Maggie arrived she was a very shy little girl who took a whale to show her personality.
She has developed into a true sweetheart who is cheeky loving and adored the children to pieces.
She is still a little quiet when meeting strangers but when there are kids involved, she's all courageous and confident lol

Play/social: Maggie is definitely full of energy and beans and just doesn’t stop! On a lighter note, she is one to finally settle and cuddle in with her owner friends but not until she’s surpassed all the fun things first and gets lots of attention. Maggie is quite affectionate and loves to be close to her family at all times, a paw touching you almost! Just to feel safer and know we’re still around. She absolutely adores her fur brothers and follows them around everywhere they go! They are yet to catch a break from her! She loves exploring the yard and when out on walks there just isn’t enough time to smell and see all the areas!

Food: Maggie is currently being fed twice daily on a premium puppy food as well as prime rolls. She absolutely loves her food but also likes to play around her food bowl while eating.

Sleeping: Maggie is currently sleeping indoors with her family! She is rather sneaky though and likes to jump up on the beds to be nearer to her human companions. She will sleep all night long without any interruptions however if she needs to go out for a toilet stop she is def one to let us know!

Toileting: Maggie has had a couple of accidents within the indoor area more so we feel to being unsettled at the start. She now gets treats and rewards when she trots off to the outdoor area on her own and she seems to be responding well to the praise and encouragement. Maggie is quite intelligent and I have no doubt she will continue to pick up on the toileting quite easily.

Walking: Maggie absolutely loves going for walks on the lead. She will require further lead training but she really isn’t one to go running and pulling! Like mentioned above, there are far too many smells and attractions to keep her busy and distracted.
Maggie loves playing with toys! She loves playing tug of war and loves destroying them into little pieces but what are toys for!

Children. Maggie is currently living with 2 children aged 10 & 12 who absolutely adore her! She is always following them around and wanting to be close to them! We feel she would great benefit from being in a home with children who of mature ages

Dogs/Cats: Maggie has proven to be very social and comfortable around other animals, She currently resides with 2 golden retrievers and a cat. She was quite intrigued by the cat in the beginning (more unsure as to what this small 4 legged friend was) but now isn’t phased by her at all. She loves playing outdoors with the dogs and is often seen snuggling into them on their beds while indoors and chilling out.

Travel: Maggie travelled well in the car on the restraint. She didn’t try to jump up or move around so moving forward this wouldn’t be an issue.

Maggie is going to need a lot of time and dedication from a family willing to offer her this! She is still young and eager to learn and will one day make for a very intelligent smart girl! She needs ongoing training, support, walks and a lot of treats and encouragement to get her to where she needs to be! She is proving to be a quick learner so training should be fun and enjoyable! She will need a yard of a decent size and a family willing to take her on daily walks and exercises!
She will need a family willing to have her sleep inside with them at night to keep her warm and safe. And most of all she will need a family that is going to show her endless love and support for the future.

A family with a dog already is ideal as Maggie is now used to having company and someone to play with. A pet with similar Energy levels is also a must.

Maggie's beautiful nature will suit a young family! She will not disappoint!

A home with a good size yard with secure fencing and plenty of shade and shelter
If another dog in residence ( not a deal breaker) we would be seeking a med to large male who is very well socialised and can handle puppy enthusiasm
If children in the residence we would only consider mature age that are very dog Savvy
Dog Savvy cats are perfectly fine

Miss Maggie will need a active home that are prepared to take her to puppy school and continue her training
