About Rover
Introducing Rover, a handsome Border Collie x Staffy born 18th August 2021.
Rover is a sweet young man who has had a rough start to life.
He loves nothing more than spending time with people. He has been in foster care with other dogs, a cat & small children and Rover gets along amazing with all of them.
Rover's foster carer/trainer is recommending a home with another dog as he loves being part of a pack.
Rover shows no signs of separation anxiety as long as he's with other dogs. While he tested well there may be the potential for some mild anxiety if he is left at home alone for long periods of time.
He is quite eager to please his owners and would love to continue his training when he's at home.
Rover is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Rover, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Rover’s adoption fee is $200, and this includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Rover is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Rover is currently in foster care on the Central Coast.
Medical notes
Rover is a hermaphrodite & has had some internal issues. He has been desexed & his internal plumbing has mostly been fixed, however as a result of that surgery Rover is now incontinent. His current foster carers have him in nappies to help with this issue, but his new family will need to be aware that this will be an on-going issue.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
