About Mia
Gorgeous girl Mia has begun the search for a forever family!
She is a little shy to first meet, once warmed up she is super playful, friendly, and energetic and adores snuggles and kisses! She is a cheeky girl who loves playing with toys.
Mia would suit a wide range of family homes, including other pets. She would love a new friend in her new home!
Mia is a very social little puppy once she is settled in and just loves to explore and interact with people and would love to find a family that can show and teach her how wonderful it is to be a loved puppy!
Mia will go to her new family desexed and microchipped. She is up to date with vaccination, flea, tick, and worming treatments.
Medical notes
Miss Mia and her littermates are being treated for Carpal Laxity Syndrome, otherwise known as Knuckling Over in puppies' forelegs.
Typically stemming from a rough start in life, puppies with this condition can successfully overcome the syndrome with a good premium quality diet, UV rays via sun exposure and plenty of rest to minimise overstretching of the ligaments whilst healing. In some more severe cases puppies might need medication, splinting of the limb and even surgical correction, however Mias' veterinary team are happy with how she has been healing with diet and rest so far.
Mia was also treated intensively for Giardia, which is a parasitic infection, when she first came into care, and needed to be on intravenous fluid therapy for a couple of days. She has bounced back beautifully, and will need to be kept up to date with her parasitic prevention.
We are happy to discuss further with interested adoptive families!
