About Benji
Meet Benji!
This young man is a big ball of energy! He loves humans and just wants to feel loved.
He would love a home where he can spend his days going on 1 or 2 walks (or runs even) and then lounging around with his human!
Hes a big lap dog and would sit on your lap if he could!
His tail is ALWAYS wagging.
Benji hasn't had much previous training so is still learning his manners like not jumping up when excited. Because if this he wouldn't suit a home with kids under 10 as he might knock them over. He does love kids though and with training would start to understand his size.
Benji loves other dogs but he can be a little in their face so would need a patient doggo or one who matches his energy. He's even good with the tiny little puppy who's in foster care with him!
He isn't a fan of cats or small animals.
Benji is crate trained, and walks well on lead with a Halti (he will pull if he's just got a regular collar on). He knows sit but sometimes doesn't listen because he's too excited.
Hes happy chilling in the backyard or his crate when you aren't home.
Benji will need a home willing to put in a little extra training with him to help him be the best doggo he can be!

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
