About Parsnip
*In foster care in Surry Hills, Sydney*
Parsnip is a sweet and curious kitty who'll make the most purrfect best friend ever!
Settling straight into her foster home with a minimum of fuss, she's made herself VERY comfortable - but it's now time to find her an amazing forever home of her own :)
This lovely girl is an excellent mix of independent and affectionate. You'll never be left wondering what she wants - a playful roll onto her back while she gazes at you means it's cuddle time, and long streams of animated chatter mean dinner's late ;)
Parsnip has beautiful thick grey fur with touches of white on her tummy and paws. She adores head and chin scratches - though she's not fond of being picked up and carried around - and often starts the evening snuggled up at your feet as you drift off to sleep.
Her own napping preferences include the couch, on her favourite blanket, or in the sun watching birds from the balcony. While sleeping she hides her face under her crossed front paws: plain adorable!
Like all Maggie's pets, Parsnip is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will likely be in a calm, peaceful household without too much activity going on. I really love the peace and quiet of my foster home!
Although I like human company, I'm more than happy to spend the day on my own while you work or run errands. As long as there's somewhere warm and cosy to snooze, I'm pretty easy :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate, I'd say! I often get the zoomies at the end of the day, and don't mind the odd game with a dangly toy, but mostly I prefer to just relax.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think a home with adults only, or with children in their teens, will suit me best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't had the chance to meet any other animals since coming into foster care, so it's hard to know.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
