About Nevaeh
Nevaeh is a loving, highly energetic girl looking for a home to call her own. She is a beautiful Mastiff x born 21st February 2020.
We’ve had the pleasure of fostering, training and socialising Nevaeh here at the farm for the last 6 months. Here’s an honest summary of what we can tell you about Nevaeh to the best of our knowledge and experience in the hope of finding her the most suitable forever home.
Nevaeh came to the farm with the story that she likely was previously a wild dog. Our initial assessment and ongoing observations could support this possible theory. Nevaeh had a very high complex level of dog social skills and pack mentality. Very unlike any other dog that we see with behavioural issues as a result of limited or no socialisation.
Nevaeh is a very strong dog in every sense of the word. Strong in body, character and personality. More than any dog, she exclusively respects strength. Strength in a dog and strength in a human. Her exceptional reading/assessment skills are honed to seek out weakness and re-organise hierarchy. She naturally does it. And won’t relent unless you are a strong leader to guide her otherwise. Once led, she is calm, affectionate, loyal … a truly incredible dog.
But because of this, we can only recommend she is rehomed with a strong leader and if with other dogs, then they are strong and confident in themselves. If she could find this kind of home she will be a great companion for human and canine.
Nevaeh is an athlete. She is likely one of the fastest dogs we’ve had at the farm. She dock dives further than any and could likely be further trained for competition. Nevaeh would perform well in most dog sports and have a good chance at high level competition with a committed owner. She doesn’t need this kind of activity in her life but if an owner had an interest in it, she would be a great candidate for this.
Nevaeh will need a lot of exercise and stimulation. She has a big love for running, swimming and toys.
She has in the past, been unapologetic in her pushy nature. This is generally speaking and with also specific reference to her love of toys. Obviously she has been working on this kind of training here at the farm. But it would need to continue.
She has been exposed to a cat. Being such a highly trained dog, she is very responsive to being guided with her interactions in a controlled setting. However, she does have high prey drive and so would need continued guidance around cats.
Nevaeh is a very loving and affectionate dog towards humans. She is very gentle and respectful of our family. Children included. She finds calm and enjoys just chilling inside with her people.
Nevaeh is looking for an experienced owner. Someone who is committed to Nevaeh’s best interests through continuing training, establishing a leader based relationship and setting firm boundaries.
We are committed to support a suitable adoption for Nevaeh with training for the owner. Nevaeh has already done her training, but she does now need someone to continue to speak the language.

Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
