About Matty
Meet Matty! An 11 year old Kelpie cross Cattle dog boy. Matty has an amazing personality and such a lovely temperament. You have never met a more smoochy, loyal and loving gentleman than Mr Matty Boy! He will follow you around all day just happy to be in your presence. He gives the best kisses and cuddles!
Matty is a calm, gentle boy who has lived most of his life outside on a farm with 5 other dogs. He travels well in the car, and will sleep happily in his crate overnight and his kennel during the day. He is great with other dogs, cats and horses. He can walk on lead and will follow you, but is happiest pottering around the property with his humans. Matty is still learning the ways of being inside the house, but will need a patient and understanding family to continue guiding him.
He can be still unsure of life in a busy household, however he has come a long way in care already. As Matty was an outside only dog on a rural farm and hadn't been exposed to much more than farm life, he will need a patient and understanding home who will enjoy his smoochy company as he lives out his retirement in peace.
Matty would suit a home with another relaxed doggy friend or as an only dog where he would be the centre of attention. He would prefer his humans are home more often than not, that live on acreage or on a big block in a quiet area. As Matty is still unsure around sudden movements and loud noises, he would be best suited to a home with at least teenage aged kids who can understand his needs.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
