Nature
This boy is big and beautiful, and his foster carers call him a more dignified nickname, Obi. This boy came to his current foster home very feisty and quite shut down. In only a matter of a few months, he is happily wandering his foster home and enjoying the company of his other foster cats.

He likes to sit and watch what’s going on, eat his treats from your hand, and be given a gentle cheek rub. As time goes on, he becomes more calm and confident. He loves his cat friends, and is learning all about trust by watching them and the foster carers interact.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
He is not recommended to be with children, as he scares easily. He must have a cat friend, as it’s what gives him comfort. He is great with the foster home’s large dog as well.

Likes / Dislikes
He likes to lay around in the daytime and shine at night, playing with his friends. He loves treats and sitting in his catio watching the outside world go by.

He doesn’t like loud noise or being forced to socialise, he goes back in his shell, but left alone with no pressure, he wanders around happily.

My PURR-fect home would be with a slow introduction by having a safe room to go to and very patient humans. A quiet home would help me feel safe, and a confident companion cat would mean the world to me. I will trust after given time, and it will be worth it because I am a really lovely boy.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
