About Milton
Milton came in to care very shy & timid.
Apparently he had to deal with some rough treatment by children who treated him like a toy when he was a baby, but he is gaining in confidence every day.
He is not a yapper, much more of a smuggler who loves to be carried & to sit on your lap.
He likes to play with other little dogs, but at first he had no idea on HOW to play.
Now he is learning the fun gained with chasing each other & playing with toys.
Milton is learning to walk on a lead with a harness & he travels well in the car.
He is not a set & forget dog, he needs to be with you & not left to his own devices, Milt wants to be involved in what ever you are doing.
A home with small children is not suitable, after his early up bringing, he has gained so much confidence lately we dont want him taking a backward step.
Milton is a sweetheart, he is an inside dog, though enjoys being outside too, as long as you are with him course!
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
