About Cara and Alex

It's hard to imagine two more loving kitties than Cara and Alex! They're both expert biscuit makers, especially Alex - she can can keep those paws going happily for hours!
When Alex is in an affectionate mood, she'll definitely let you know - chatting away at you until you clue in and give her all the snuggles! Cara's not as talkative, but she has her own gentle ways of sneaking into your arms and your heart. And she's definitely the protector of the pair, spending leisurely hours grooming her sister and providing a safe shield to hide behind whenever Alex gets worried.
There's plenty of fun and games too, and during their hyper moments these gorgeous girls sometimes play so hard they rearrange the furniture! Chuck a toilet roll into the mix to take things to the next level... :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Cara and Alex are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: ... will be with an adoring single person or couple who has heaps of time to share with us, and who has experience with cats. We enjoy keeping you company at night on your comfy bed, and snoozing there during the day, so that will need to be OK with you :) A nice cosy apartment or small secure house would likely be the best home for us.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We have stacks of energy, mostly in the early morning! In the evenings we love to cuddle, so be ready for an early night because we need looots of one-on-one time before going to bed!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We're a bit particular about noise and fuss, so we'd be best suited to a home with either no children or quiet older kids of at least school age.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We love other cats SO much! Unfortunately we're not keen on dogs at all.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
