Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Cattan - Located in Bayswater
Cattan (or potato as he's been fondly nicknamed) is the sweetest, most scruffy, most lovely one-eyed cat you'll ever meet. ** Please read medical information before applying**
A regular day for cattan includes:
- scoffing his breakfast
- demanding some attention
- sleeping on the softest fabric in your home
- chasing a ping-pong ball endlessly
- and finding the nearest lap to sleep on all day
Cattan makes up for his lack of eye with an endless amount cuddles and biscuit making. If finding your home is a little quiet right now, then Cattan is the perfect cat for you. With his cute little chatters, Cattan is excellent at holding a conversation.

Medical notes
Cattan has a condition called Glaucoma that is increased pressure in his eye. This condition is currently being controlled by daily medication which it is extremely important that he receives. Unfortunately his other eye has previously had to be removed after the pressure became too high and it was permanently damaged.
Cattan is also FIV positive and can get mild cat flu signs during periods of transition.
FIV+ cats live a normal life for many years and we cannot predict the life span of these cats. FIV positive cats sometimes have a scruffy coat and the condition can lead to chronic recurrent infections in the mouth, eye and skin. FIV cannot infect people, however it can infect other cats through bite wounds commonly from fights. FIV positive cats can co-exist with other cats that don't have FIV without issues.
We encourage that the cat is either an indoor cat or a confined cat - eg access to a cat run outdoors. We recommend regular vet visits (6 monthly) to monitor weight, coat changes, mouth etc.
