About π±βπJupiπ±βπ
Jupi is a pocket rocket of a cat. She has never met a person or animal she didnβt love!
She is such a happy go lucky affectionate girl and a big ball of energy who loves to get into mischief and have a good play. She will need a home with other animals and would happily live with another playful and friendly cat who is willing to get on her level. Jupi has also been fantastic with her foster family's two small dogs and loves to run, play and wrestle with the younger one. She also knows when to be gentle and will lay in the sun and groom her elderly foster pupper.
Jupi loves people just as much as she loves animals. She loves a good snuggle and will sleep all night right beside your face purring. She likes to help out and will lick your nose and eyes to make sure youβre nice and clean. Jupi will happily play the day away with kids of all ages as long as they are respectful of her but would also be happy in an active and loving all-adult home. As much as Jupi is an active little lady she also loves to have her quiet time. She can often be found having a nice sleep in the sun coming through the windows and watching the birds outside and chirping to them.
She is unafraid of life and certainly not shy when it comes to dinner time or doors. She is a known food thief and must not be left alone with the cooking as she is too curious and wants to help as she doesnβt understand that itβs a dangerous endeavour. Jupiβs new family will also have to be careful when going in and out of doors. Although she is a curious little girl she needs to have an indoor only home or one with a secure outdoor enclosure so that she can be safe from outside hazards.
Jupi Was born with pectus excavatum and a small heart defect. She has had specialist surgery to resolve her pectus excavatum. This surgery was a success and her chest is now almost perfectly straight and isn't expected to cause her any further trouble. Jupi had her final checkup on her heart on the 2nd of November and her cardiac specialist was very happy with the minor defect and doesn't believe it will impact her life at all. Obviously though, hearts are serious business, so as a precaution and because she's still a kitten, her surgical specialist would like to see her again once she's fully grown in another 6 months or so, just for one more check of her heart.
Jupi is in care in Pakenham.
Please note that only enquiries that are accompanied by a completed adoption questionnaire will receive a reply.
Medical notes
Jupi has had specialist surgery to fix the pectus excavatum she was born with. She was also born with a small hole in her heart, but this has not caused her any issues and her final check up will confirm this is not degenerative.
Jupi goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, parasite treated and current in vaccinations.
