About Bear
Meet Bear!
Bear was born outside and grew up in someone's backyard. Now, at 9 months old, he is discovering indoor life and well, he rather likes it!
While he is shy initially, Bear has absolutely blossomed in his foster home, with the help of his confident feline foster-siblings. He LOVES pats, and will stand up on his hind legs to reach your hand as you lean down to pat him. He loves belly rubs, too, and is getting used to being picked up and held. He's not a lap cat yet, but we have a string feeling he will be in good time!
Bear is living with a large breed dog in his foster home and is absolutely fine with him. He adores other cats, often racing through the house playing and frolicking.
A second cat in Bears new home is a must, as he is learning so much about "how to cat" by watching and living with other cats in his foster home.
Being a white cat, we are looking for a strictly indoor home for Bear. His white fur makes him more prone to skin cancer than a darker furred cat, so being indoors out of the sun is important.
Bear has the most beautiful coat, and his fur is long and fine. This means he requires regular brushing, like any long haired cat, to maintain a healthy, beautiful and knot-free coat.
