About Stitch
Meet our adorable boy “Stitch”
Stitch loves to be with people. He is a little lap dog but is happy to curl up in his bed too. Stitch is house trained and will let you know he needs toilet by sitting at the door to go out. He sleeps all night in his crate and is also happy to go to his crate through the day.
Stitch loves exploring outside especially when you are out in the garden. He loves his toys and has daily play sessions. He loves zoomies as well which is hilarious to watch. He doesn’t chew but if he finds a tissue it will be shredded, he can’t help himself. Stitch loves going on walks and listens well to commands such as wait and walk. When he sees the lead come out for walk time, he gets super excited and dances around. He does tend to bark and pull on the lead when he encounters other dogs on his daily walks.
We are feeding stitch 2 times a day and he loves a little treat after his walk. He is happy to be bathed, tolerates hair dryer, loves getting brushed and was very good at professional grooming session. He also loves car rides and hops in the car with no troubles and travels well.
When Stitch came into care he had “cherry eye” in one of his eyes. He received surgery and no longer suffers from this condition. He does however need regular cleaning of his eyes (fairly common for breed) He can also be sensitive to sunlight so maybe some doggy glasses might help, he would look so cool in those!
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a secure yard
• Stitch will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Stitch to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include the name of the obedience school you will be taking him to.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
