About Oakley
Meet our Handsome boy “Oakley”
Oakley is an adorable (one of a kind) boy. He is lovable and has the sweetest fun-loving nature you will ever find. Oakley loves to play with other dogs, is good with cats and is gentle enough to have around children.
Oakley loves to go for walks, explore his environment, and go on car adventures with his family. He is toilet trained and crate trained and is keen to learn new things to please you.
If you are looking for a wonderful family dog (with a unique smile) Oakley is sure to be you man. We just can’t say enough good things about him, we are all in love with him here at Chally. Oakley has had his jaw (aka special smile) check by our specialist, and everything is fine, he just need to have a tooth removed on the 19th of this month so will not be available until around the 22nd of October. You can however pop in and meet him at the Melbourne Dog Lovers Show 14th -16th October
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a secure yard
• Oakley will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Oakley to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include the name of the obedience school you will be taking him to.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
