Tippy ~ Cattle Dog X Puppy(On Trial 11/10/22)

Tippy: is an 8-week-old cattle x dog. He is a sweet boy who loves to eat, sleep and play… then have extra-long cuddles. His very smart and can understand a commend…..such as calling him.

Toilet training is going very well for such a young pup he got it almost straight away. He holds on now until he can go outside now. There have been only a few accidents inside and that was because he could not get outside. He is curious and with his 2 brothers he likes a good rough housing. Tippy is food orientated and is a speed eater. I think he could eat all day long.

As his hair grows, he is becoming more chocolate in colouring (not dissimilar to a chocolate lab). He is a handsome fellow and has beautiful paw colourings. He also has 3 tips of white, hence his name.

Overnight he sleeps in the 2 nd bathroom and settles very quickly. I think he will be easy to train with a bit of dedication and love. I do put the lead on him but have not tried to walk him. It is more to expose him to different things

He has been in the car 3 times now and settles quickly. He does not react to cars driving by the yard (I have a crn block yard with pool fencing). He is also very friendly to the people and kids walking by. The people always stop and pat him. Like his 2 brothers he doesn’t disappoint them with his cute demeanor and puppy antics.

Tippy’s ideal home:
- A good size backyard and he is welcomed into the family home.
- He would be ok as an only dog. However, if the family works outside the home, it would be nice for him to have a fur sibling.
- A safe warm place to sleep at night
- An active family where he gets lots of walks
- And of course, couch cuddles.

Tippy's adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work. This includes desexing, microchipping, second vaccination. He has had his first vaccination and has been microchipped. He also has been treated for fleas and worms. His adoption fee also includes his desexing when he is old enough.

As Tippy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
