About Forest and Strawberry
Say hello to this adorable mother/daughter pair, Forest (brown 3.5 years old) and Strawberry (tan and white, 1.5 years old). These girls love to snuggle! They are very calm piggies who enjoy snoozing on their day bed and go crazy for fresh dry hay!
Forest is a doting mum who loves chilling when not enjoying her food. She is the calmer of the two and will snuggle for a hug with her humans. Strawberry is more lively and loves to snuggle with her mum (as often as Forest will allow). She will let you know when she thinks it’s feeding time by wheeking at the door.
Forest and Strawberry must be adopted together as they are a bonded pair.
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.
