Penny and Henry

‘Sweet seniors looking for a forever home together’

Penny, a miniature dachshund and Henry , a Poodle x Shi Tzu are an odd, but delightful couple. Penny is the boss and true to the breed, can be pushy in order to get her needs met. As Henry is happy go lucky by nature and a gentleman, he will readily fall into line. He embraces the mantra ‘happy wife, happy life’.  Penny is an affectionate and loyal girl who loves to be by your side or better still, resting on a comfortable lap. Penny is less endearing when she finds a small object to chew, such as plastic pegs. The pair will bark at other dogs or bikes  passing by but overall are well behaved little companions.

Penny and Henry are hoping for a comfortable retirement home with the following features

A quiet household free from the mayhem of  babies, toddlers and young children. An older individual or couple who are seeking companions would be perfect.
An indoor lifestyle with easy access to a garden in which to fossick, potter and lie in the sun.
Healthy but delicious food and for Penny, a low fat diet.
Inclusion as part of the family with regular doses of loving attention including pets and snuggles on the couch.
