About Shadow
Hi everyone,
Shadow’s foster mum here. I wanted to tell you a bit about Shadow.
I can tell you that Shadow is a sweet girl who loves her morning walk, will then follow you from room to room and then curl up at your feet as you get on with your work.
I can tell you she is completely house and crate trained.
What I can’t show you though are the amazing things that made me fall in love with Shadow.
- Her downward dog complete with gorgeous little squeaks in the morning before she comes wagging over to me for a morning snuggle.
- Her excited little dance when we’re getting her lead on for a walk.
- The way her coat shines and changes colours in the sunlight when she’s sunbaking on the deck.
- The way she sits up so straight when I’m preparing her dinner and then gets a little meat beard afterwards.
- The way she gets up sleepily when I do and offers me her belly for a rub.
She is a gentle, enthusiastic, wonderful ball of joy who will need a family who is not going to leave her at home by herself for 8 hours a day. She would also benefit from having a pooch playmate as she loves rastling with her furry foster sisters and then curling up together for a snooze.
She ADORES car rides and her human foster kids but would be suited for kids over 5 as she sometimes doesn’t know her own strength and might accidentally knock you over.
She will need some further lead training to be her best poochy self when out and about.
A stunning girl who started by hiding in the shadows but now just wants to be your shadow.
Could you be my forever home please?
Untested with cats or pocket pets.
Adoption details
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
